Hello tea and coffee lovers, we're delighted to have you here! We are a proud small Irish business based in Dunhill Ecopark, Co. Waterford with quality, ethical practices, and damn delicious drinks at our core. We think a great cuppa is good for the soul, so the way we see it, only the best will do. We create the finest tasting teas and coffees using premium ingredients from around the world, and always with our unique Trá twist.

We started off in the Irish Army, and now, decades later, we're the team behind Trá! From peacekeeping missions all over the world, to running a small Irish business - it's been quite a career change but we love it. We're self-confessed tea and coffee nerds and you’ll usually find us in our Dunhill Ecopark HQ developing, roasting, blending, and packing by hand. We're also known to take numerous coffee and tea breaks, or, as we like to call it, "research."
Trá Coffee
Hi, I'm Tom, and this business started with a passion for coffee and family. I was in the Irish Army for years and wanted to be closer to home, so I deep-dived into my love of coffee and here we are!
My time abroad in the Army definitely started my coffee curiosity. I was fascinated by the tasty coffees of Lebanon, Liberia and Chad which led me to sustainably source and roast my own beans. I study the different characteristics of each coffee grown by small holder farmers to deliver to you delicious, premium quality coffee, or as I like to call it, happiness in a cup!
Trá Tea
First coffee... then tea. We began drinking more tea at home and found ourselves in a whole new world steeped (pun intended!) in the rich history and tradition of speciality teas.
Our hand blended range of loose leaf artisanal teas taste and smell delicious, and are inspired by the peacefulness of waves breaking on a beautiful Irish beach.
We use only be best ingredients and hand blend and pack in our Co. Waterford HQ at a micro level.
Our teas and coffees are currently stocked in a number of fantastic local retail stores and cafes, including Ardkeen Quality Food Stores in Waterford City and Mezze and Cove Stores in Tramore. Our collective shop
CC Creatives is a collective shop of nine awesome local creators, including Trá, who first met at pop up markets in Waterford and went on to join forces to bring you a permanent location in Waterford City. You can shop the Trá Coffee Roasters and Trá Speciality Teas range in store, as well as heaps of other wonderful local goodies.
